WONDERFULLY MADE
At some point in my life, I got caught up in measuring myself against my friends, the women I’d pass on the street, and even random girls on IG - wishing I was made differently. Wishing I had a different clothing size, skill set, or personality trait. But God doesn’t make mistakes. Those things I wanted to change about myself were handpicked for me by the Creator of the heavens and the earth. When you look at God’s creation in nature, you don’t critique the shape of the mountainside or complain about the local plant life or wildlife. You just accept it as beautiful, despite - and maybe even because of its imperfections. But we complain about ourselves. And when we do so, we’re dishonoring our Creator and telling Him, “Your masterpiece is flawed.” "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them".
